Privacy Policy
The short version: the OutOnTime app stores everything on your device and sends nothing anywhere. This website collects nothing about you. That's the whole story — the sections below just make it precise.
Who is responsible
OutOnTime is developed and operated by Highland House Ryhlov, Switzerland, who is the data controller for anything described on this page. For any privacy question or request, write to [email protected].
The Android app: everything stays on your device
OutOnTime works without an account and without a backend. Your routines, run history and settings are stored in a local database on your device and are never transmitted anywhere. Specifically:
- The app makes no network connections of its own. It contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.
- The app opts out of Android's cloud backup, so its data is not copied to Google's servers by the system either.
- The permissions the app requests — notifications, exact alarms, and displaying the alarm screen — exist solely to run your routines on time. They operate entirely on the device.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app deletes everything. Because no copy exists outside your device, there is nothing further to request or erase.
Joining the beta
OutOnTime is distributed through Google Play's open testing (the open beta). This website does not ask for or collect your email address or any other personal information — there is no sign-up form. Installing the beta happens through Google Play, which is operated by Google under Google's own privacy policy.
Website analytics and hosting
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-less measurement tool that reports aggregate page statistics and does not identify individual visitors or track them across sites. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; like any host, Cloudflare processes technical server data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the pages.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data described here — in practice, neither the app nor this website holds any personal data about you. Write to [email protected].
Changes to this policy
This policy describes what OutOnTime does today, and it will be kept accurate as the product evolves. If a future version introduces optional accounts or optional, anonymised product research, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and any such feature will be opt-in. Material changes are announced on this website.
